Sometimes life is just tough. I talk about this often because it's just the truth of the matter. While we have some strong moments of happiness and experience joy, when trouble hits, it has potential to trip us up and shake us up a bit. Sometimes, we want to skip all the bad. Life would be easier..hmmm... When we feel like life it weighing so heavy on us, we can be like Jesus when he said ...if it be thy will, let this cup pass... Oh to ignore and dismiss the hard times! How sweet would that be? Hmmm...
Would life be sweeter? Hmmmm...
In this life and as we live, we learn that in life's toughest moments is where we actually learn and what we glean from. We learn that the stove, when turned on, is HOT. We learn to avoid some places and company. We learn not to give certain people too much information because they simply don't know how to handle it with the necessary care. We learn that if we don't control ourselves that someone else takes over and controls the reins. We learn through betrayal, through abandonment, through rejection, through being mislead, and through disappointment. Tough lessons, but these times make us and shape us to be and do better.
Beloved, do not despise your hardship. It is making you stronger and wiser. Pay attention to the lessons and be intentional about learning from them. Stay focused and remember the Word of God. It says, blessed are the persecuted for righteousness sake, for their's is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:11). Our struggles can have us feeling persecuted. Life, itself, can have us feeling persecuted and humiliated. But, if you're feeling persecuted today, the Word says that you, my dear, are blessed! You are blessed, and your reward is great!! Amen!
I encourage you to stand in and on the word of God; rest in the presence of God, where there is liberty and great joy! ...where there is security and safety. God is our refuge and our fortress...so when you feel persecuted, destroyed, humiliated, abandoned, and even rejected in the midst of what you're going through...remember the mark you're pressing towards and the reward you are living for. Remember that God is right there with you and has confidence in you that you will use what he has given you to make it through the moment(s).
The blessing of the Lord is that we don't have to wait to see the goodness of the Lord...we walk in it daily. Open your eyes; see the goodness of the Lord in an unusual way that it may become usual to you. Trust in the Lord and continue to do good....the scripture further reads in Psalms 37:3 and thou shall dwell in the land, and be fed. God won't leave you alone. He won't leave you uncovered. He won't reject you nor abandon you. He will provide for you and strengthen you in this journey of life. Furthermore, Psalms 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread." Does anyone have this testimony? God takes care of the believer; His own. We are righteous through the blood of Jesus and through our faith. Hallelujah! If we give God time and live through our tough times, we will see it all work in our favor in Jesus' name. Be who God has called you to be and presdestined you to be. Trust Him for you are never alone.
