In times like these, it is important to guard your peace. Life is such an unpredictable thing. We don't know what will hit us from day to day from people we know and the are closest with. But, it is important that we guard our peace. Protect it! The peace that passeth all understanding that God gives us and have given us, we must to protect it. Our peace of mind is vital to make it through life's hardest challenges. In order to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, we must guard our peace.
We can't let trials, tribulations, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, sadness, depression, family members, friends, spouses, children, and etc...we can't let any of that rob us of our peace; it is how we make it from day to day. It is how we make it from moment to moment. Through grief, through the losses both great and small of so many different things, our God-given peace is how we survive and thrive. In the midst of the raging storms that come as we live this life... the unexpected events that occur... when we have peace... when we are determined to grip and use and live in our peace... We can make it through the storms!
God has equipped us with the greatest tools to make it through everything that we will face in this life. He is the greatest power; and if we depend on Him and rest in His peace, it is impossible for us to be stopped. Stand in His peace! Walk in His peace! Run this race with His peace! Maneuver through life with His peace!
Today, especially, I command peace to comfort you! I declare that you shall have peace concerning the situation that is heavy on your heart and mind, in the name of Jesus Christ! As you go through this week, I command peace to be with you in the name of Jesus Christ! As you spend time in prayer, today and throughout this week, make sure you make your request known with prayer and supplications with thanksgiving make your request known unto God! The Word further says... and the peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ! Amen.
Philippians 4:6-7
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with (B)thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and (C)the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
