Yesterday I wrote a post on FB that reads: "Thank You, Lord!! Just when you feel consumed by life...victory will sneak up on you! #GodisFaithful"
You don't always know that how you're handling the situation is the "right" way. But, when you think about it...and as I think about the story of Job and my book, God Knows Your Measure... what is really the "right" way? By whose standard is it measured, that how you're dealing with a situation is right or wrong? It is truly a question to be asked because we add extra stress believing that we're stronger than what we apprear to be in our current situation. As if we should be handling it better. Sometimes, we truly are doing the best that we can; even if it seems otherwise.
In chapter 9 of my book I wrote, "Furthermore, because God said it, He gives the measure of grace and faith needed to fulfill His Word! Because of this, we are truly unable to judge one another. Not only are people unworthy to know and understand this measure enough to judge each other, we are unable and unworthy to judge ourselves." This statement was such a revelation to me because we can be so hard on ourselves. If our neighbors were in the same situation or standing in our shoes, they wouldn't be able to walk in them. I guarantee you that. God gives us what we need to survive. Yes, in that moment it seems like you're being crushed and life is consuming you, but God is faithful. He never leaves us without the very thing we need to get through those seemingly impossible circumstances.
So today I implore you to be encouraged. Be strengthened knowing that God has confidence in you. If He said a thing concerning you, guess what...it is so! Let victory sneak up on you and cause you to breathe easier. Let it give you the rest you deserve for surviving such a DIFFICULT season. A season you thought or it felt like you were lost in.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says to trust in the Lord, with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He shall direct your path!
You are never alone. Refuse to accept that when the enemy tries to let that ring in your mind. Rebuke him, in Jesus name! We are more than conquerors. We are victorious, EVEN when we feel defeated because God is always with us. This flesh cannot overthrow what God has already spoken concerning you.
Stand on the Word of God. Worship Him in spirit and in truth. Choose Him every day and over every defeated moment because He is certainly greater!!!!
