God is perfect in all his ways. His path for us, we will never know in its entirety what it entails. But, the joy of it is knowing that God will never fail us. He will never fail you. He will never leave you without. That is the great benefit; His consistency and His faithfulness. His ability to hold strong to His promises concerning us.
As I am reflecting on all that is going on in my life at the moment, I am missing my mom very much. These days, I want to call her to tell of all the latest happenings. And being a new mom without my mommy is super tough. I never in a million years would have thought I would have to raise my baby without her. I used to sit and think about how precious the times would be when she'd embrace my baby. Having many siblings whom she's had that experienced with, I just knew it would be special to witness the same.
Well, I was not afforded that opportunity, but as I mentioned above, God will never leave us without. He didn't leave me without. Yes, I miss my mommy and wish she never had to leave me. As I am dealing and living with that, God has placed some beautiful women in my life who I can say fits the mold. While no one can replace her, God didn't leave me without. He knew I would be without my mother, unexpectedly. He knew where I needed to be when that happened as well. My transition to Jacksonville, NC wasn't for naught. God had a plan. He knew I would need these specific individuals around me that I could gleam from...and not only that, whom I can confide in and just simply enjoy their presence. And who would love me as if I was their own, not only as a sister in Christ, but as so much more.
Beloved, know that God will not leave you without. He will never abandon you. He will never leave you wanting. Yes, we have God always by our side, and most importantly within us. Just know that He will also bless you with beautiful earthly beings that will also be there for you and help you in your toughest times. Again, not only in your tough times, but in your regular day to day, AND your most joyous times. You are never standing alone. Believe that. Walk this walk knowing that.
God cares about your total man. He will not take from you and leave you standing alone. He will not allow you to grieve alone. He will not allow you to do life by yourself. Look around you. God has placed a special person or persons around you to walk with. God cares about you, all of you...every need and every want. He never intended on us walking alone, and I truly bless God for that.
For the longest time, ignorantly, I would think being alone was better. But, I have learned better, especially since transitioning to Jacksonville, NC. God has truly blessed me, and I am not at all talking about materialistic things. My joy comes from the fact that God has truly given me life, more abundantly. I am well. My family is well. My church is well.
You are not alone. You are not alone. You are not alone. Believe that. We as believers should have one another to lean on. When we can stop the bickering, fighting, competing, judging, isolating ourselves...etc., then we will be able to walk in confidence knowing that our neighbor has our back. We need each other to survive; that is not just a song. That is the fact of the matter. I truly need you. We can't grieve alone. We can't bare our burdens alone. We can't walk this life out alone. We don't just want somebody there for all he hard times, but the good times too. Who wants to celebrate alone? Who wants to do life alone? Two is better than one. Ecclesiastes talks about this.
I pray that you are encouraged and that you can find joy in this benefit of choosing to live for God. I choose life. I choose forgiveness. I choose joy. I choose peace. I choose to draw nigh to God. I choose to never stop doing my best to walk in humility. I choose life because what is better than living a life where God is the Author? There is no better choice.
